Build a cozy study room with music and a cat companion

An aesthetic study room can be a place you look forward to opening. Keep the setup simple: a clear task, a readable timer, a background you like, and sound that stays comfortable while you work.

Choose a wallpaper that leaves the timer readable

Study With Cat includes a pink lakeside sunset, a sunlit garden, a rainy forest road, and three simple color rooms. Choose a scene from Somewhere lovely or open All rooms. Your kitten has a small reaction to the change, and the choice is saved in this browser.

Try the quieter color backgrounds when you want fewer visual details. The midnight room uses light text for evening sessions. The room is a visual preference; it does not change the study schedule.

Let the music stay in the background

The sound controls include a gentle generated melody, rainfall, and brown noise. Click the same sound again to stop it, and use the volume slider to find a comfortable level. Quiet is also a valid choice.

If you have a track you want to study with, choose Your own music and select an audio file from your device. It loops locally without being uploaded by this website. You will need to select it again after reloading. Different people prefer different sounds, so keep the option that feels useful for the task in front of you.

Write one intention before changing everything else

A lovely wallpaper is a nice starting point, but the task still needs to be clear. Add a small intention such as “review ten vocabulary cards” or “outline the first paragraph.” Then start the focus timer. If you keep changing the scenery instead of starting, leave the room as it is for one session.

Make the cat feel like your companion

Click the name beneath the kitten to choose its name. While you study, it takes notes, reads, or works at a little laptop. The thought cloud alternates student-cat humor with encouragement. Another mood lets you browse the study activities.

During a break, give the kitten a pat or play ball. Ball play pauses while the focus timer is running. The cat is there for company; you do not have to earn items or maintain a streak to use the room.

Use Quiet desk for a simpler view

The moon button in the header turns on Quiet desk. It hides the introduction, task and sound cards, study guides, and footer while keeping the timer and cat visible. Turn it off when you want the other controls back. The full-screen button is another option when your browser supports it.

A small setup ritual

Choose one room. Add one task. Set the sound or leave it off. Start the timer. Let the next break be your chance to change the scenery.
